Summit Air seeks an experienced Dash 8 Captain to oversee safe operations and exceptional customer service. Based in Vancouver, BC, this role encompasses flying charters and cargo transport across Canada.
As part of your responsibilities, you will operate the Dash 8-300 aircraft with a focus on safety and efficiency. This includes maintaining current knowledge of applicable flight information, adhering to accuracy in flight plans, and ensuring comprehensive aircraft inspections. Your commitment to safety and ability to communicate effectively will play a crucial role in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Dash 8-300 safely as PIC in Northern Canada
• Check relevant flight information, including NOTAMs
• Verify flight plans for accuracy and completeness
• Participate in thorough pre-flight aircraft inspections
• Execute all required post-flight tasks
Requirements:
• Minimum 4000 flight hours, with 2500 as PIC
• 2000 hours MPIC experience needed
