Summary

The Cardiology ambulatory team member integrates with the patient, family, and provider in the care of the patient in the ambulatory setting. Responsible for the assessments of patients, documentation of such assessments, and completion of any received orders according to the defined practice guidelines and EHR protocols. Accountable for assuring the delivery of quality nursing care for the designated patients of PHI in accordance with patients’ needs, providers' orders, defined plan of care, policies, and standards of practice. The range of practice will be in the form of direct/indirect patient care, result management, in-basket management, telephone triage, patient education, or any other duty deemed necessary by leadership.
