The Ochsner Medical Center's Department of Cardiology includes 36 cardiovascular physicians working together to achieve the best possible patient access, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. The dedicated inpatient cardiology CCU service provides care 7 am to 7 pm, working one week on and one week off. There is a separate advanced heart failure and cardiology transplant inpatient service.
