Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist

Location: Allina Heart & Vascular – Edina, MN

The Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist supports safe and effective delivery of cardiac, vascular, and interventional radiology (IR) procedures. This role includes scrubbing alongside physicians, operating and maintaining specialized equipment, and ensuring all procedural standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure patient needs are met per the instructions of the physician and the facility’s policies & procedures.
• Demonstrate respect for co-workers & develop positive working relationships with other departments.
• Communicate with courtesy when interacting with patients, physicians, facility staff, vendors, and the public – in person, on the telephone, or by email.
• Perform the role of CVL scrub by anticipating the needs of the physician and keeping the circulating nurse informed of any needs throughout a procedure.
