**Description:**
*This is a full-time echo tech position for MCE region.

**Position Purpose:**

The **Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer** is responsible for performing Echocardiography and/or Vascular diagnostic testing as per Accreditation Guidelines. Reports preliminary findings for physician interpretation, Functions within the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines of the organization.

**What You Will Do:**

+ Reviews physician orders to ensure correct procedure and correctly identifies patients.
+ Patient Care: Performs all studies according to policy and procedures and standards established by Accreditating body. Abnormal pathology reported appropriately. Explains procedures to patients, answers patient's questions. Ensures comfort of patient. Assists with patient transport as needed.
