About The Role

Days of Working: 2 week rolling rota of varied day shifts.

As a caretaker, you will keep an eye on energy usage and provide meter readings. You will regularly check the fire system and carry out monthly fire door checks. You will also note and report any repair needs through the helpdesk. In addition, you will handle minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unblocking drains, and minor joinery. It’s a hands‑on role that keeps everything running smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities include:

• Monitoring energy usage and supplying meter readings.
• Checking the operation of the fire system on a regular basis, as directed by the PPM system.
• Carrying out monthly fire door checks as part of the PPM schedule.
• Noting and reporting repairs requirements through the helpdesk.
