Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Open Pit Tire Technician to join our Maintenance Team at Carlin.
Responsibilities:
Maintain all tires on mine equipment, including passenger light vehicles and all off road vehiclesMaintaining correct air pressures and tread depthsInspecting and removing worn or failed tires and installing replacement tiresRepairing all repairable tiresComplete routine maintenance activities for the purpose of ensuring the availability and safe functioning of large mining, support equipment fleetsMaintain shop areas, tools, and service vehicles to ensure a clean and safe work environmentPerform daily pre-shift work inspections and participate in individual and group hazard identification processesPerform other duties as assigned Qualifications:
