Job Title: Carpenter

Job Description

As a carpenter, you will work with a large formwork crew to construct forms for slabs, elevated slabs, stairs, and parkades. You will also be responsible for concrete placing and finishing, primarily on commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Construct, erect, install, and strip formwork systems.
• Form footings, pile caps, grade beams, slabs, and other concrete structures.
• Install anchor bolts and embedded steel for concrete pours.
• Build hoardings and frame temporary shelters as required.
• Tie rebar, pour, and finish concrete.
• Proficiently use hand tools.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial concrete formwork experience, including 1 year in high-rise construction.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Capability to travel to site.
