Location: Various job sites across Greater Edmonton, AB

Employment type: Permanent, full-time

Wage: $36/hour

Main duties

• Read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications, prepare layouts
• Measure, cut, assemble, and join lumber and wood materials
• Build different wooden construction structures, like foundations, walls, roofs etc
• Inspect, repair and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
• Install different trim items as required
• Operate and maintain measuring, hand and power tools
• Follow established safety rules and regulations
• Supervise helpers and apprentices

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience
• Good operational knowledge of English
• Completion of secondary school
