Carpenter Laborer Gulf Copper is currently laborers to support our carpenters on the Texas Battleship in our Galveston shipyard.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for the following: Other duties may be assigned.


• Laborers must be familiar with the duties of other craftworkers and with the materials, tools, and machinery they use.
• All workers in a team must collaborate to carry out assigned construction tasks efficiently.

Perform general clean-up work such as:

• Sweeping Mopping Repairing Prepare and maintain a clean work area at production/construction sites.


• Before performing any hot work, inspect the area to ensure that all flammable and combustible materials have been removed.
• Delivering all safety equipment (including appropriate fire extinguisher) to site.
