**Essential Responsibilities:**

Ability to set up, adjust, adapt, maintain and use hand and power tools of the trade. Ability to use shop math and read and interpret blueprints, specifications, sketches, and work orders to determine dimensions and materials required. Ability to operate and have operators license for vehicles up to 1-1/2 ton capacity. Skill in utilizing the accepted trade techniques and methods of painting duties. Performs maintenance and finish carpentry and millwork necessary in new construction, modification, maintenance and/or repair of buildings, structures and/or items, with complete responsibility for attention to and completion of all details of a project. As an individual worker or member of a crew, performs and occasionally directs the work of lower graded employees, in the performance of carpentry and related adjunct duties.
