Overview

In this role you will work closely with experienced carpenters and learn the necessary skills to become a fully qualified carpenter. You will assist in the construction and repair of structures made of wood such as buildings, furniture and fixtures. You will also gain experience in using various tools and techniques to measure, cut, shape and join wood materials. As an apprentice you will be expected to follow instructions carefully and ask questions to clarify any uncertainties. This is a contract job with a salary of 1400$ per month. Previous experience is not required; however a strong interest in carpentry and willingness to learn are essential. This position does not include accommodation.
