Summary This position utilizes a thorough knowledge of carpentry trade methods and techniques; roofing methods, techniques, and practices; roof construction; cement work methods, techniques, and sequences; and construction, operation, installation, maintenance, repair and operating characteristics of locking devices and mechanisms, the position maintains, constructs, repairs, and alter wood surfaces, structures, and items; construct or repair cement or concrete surfaces, structures and items. Responsibilities Major duties of this position include but is not limited to: Utilizes and selects correct materials, tools and trade methods for repairs. Mills heavy lumber, cuts bevels, rabbets, chamfers, grooves, and compound miter joints.
