Position Overview
About the role:
The Case Manager role is positioned in the Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Unit of the Crime and Counter Terrorism Investigation Services. Reporting to a Sergeant, you will be responsible for the coordination of CVE intervention through a holistic approach to ensure that the needs of clients are met, and that the safety of the Victorian community is maintained. As a Case Manager you will be required to regularly liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure work unit service delivery is maintained.
The CVE Unit aims to reduce the risk of individuals becoming or remaining violent extremists and to address the social impacts of violent extremism by undertaking the following key activities:
* Establish a coordinated intervention structure which will best identify, and support individuals deemed at risk of radicalisation to violent extremism,
