Trims and remodels cast to ensure comfort and fit, using cast knife, cast cutter, and cast spreader to remove parts of the cast and enlarge it to decrease pressure in swollen areas.
Performs appropriate documentation and patient education related to cast or splinting as directed by Physician or Registered Nurse.
Performs casting for diabetic ulcers.
