Te Wānanga o Aotearoa is seeking a Kaiako for the Te Ara Hihiri Literacy and Numeracy Support Services, a casual role based at Rimutaka Prison. You’ll teach tauira who are assessed at Literacy and Numeracy steps 1 or 2, develop lessons tailored to their needs, and contribute to teaching resources with support from staff.

The role requires a teaching or training background, the National Certificate in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education (Level 5) or equivalent, knowledge of te reo/tikanga Māori
