An Insight Global client is seeking a Category Manager to support the centralization of their procurement division within a growing construction organization. This individual will own the waterproofing category (a niche within the broader roofing space) and drive strategic sourcing initiatives, spend analysis, and vendor consolidation efforts. On a day-to-day basis, this person will analyze spend data in Excel (pivot tables, pricing comparisons) to identify cost savings and standardization opportunities, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate pricing, and support group purchasing initiatives across multiple projects and regions. They will partner closely with project managers and field teams to transition purchasing into a centralized model, ensuring procurement processes are followed while still meeting project timelines.
