Key Responsibilities Perform piano accompaniment during: Weekly Sunday worship services Choir rehearsals Special religious services and events Play prelude, offertory, hymns, and postlude music Arrive at least 20 minutes prior to scheduled services Coordinate with Chaplain staff on music selection and scheduling Support congregational singing and liturgical flow Maintain professionalism and appropriate appearance at all times Schedule Weekly Sunday Services: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM (up to 52 per year) Weekly Rehearsals: Up to 52 annually Special Services: Up to 12 per year Special Rehearsals: Up to 12 per year Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Piano or Organ Performance (required) Minimum 2 years experience as a church or chapel pianist (within last 5 years) Ability to: Sight-read music Perform four-part harmony Strong familiarity with hymnal music and liturgical services Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) Letter of recommendation from a Senior Chaplain (within ...
