Responsibilities
- Animal Health & Welfare: Conducting daily checks of cattle, monitoring feed bunks, identifying illnesses, and coordinating treatments or vaccinations with the Ranch Foreman and veterinarian. Overseeing herd health, diagnose/treat sick animals, and ensure proper processing.
- Feed Management: Overseeing the efficient mixing and delivery of rations. Daily reporting of cattle movement, feed inventory levels and medication inventory.
- Personnel Management: Recruiting, training and scheduling team members with the Ranch Foreman to ensure the facility runs smoothly. Efficient and productive personnel management and assessment of staff.
