Position Overview
Thompson Engineering is seeking a Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Inspector to join our Quality Acceptance Team on the West Alabama Highway Design-Build Project.

This large-scale, progressive design-build project involves widening Highways 43 and 69 from two lanes to a four-lane divided highway, along with the addition of new bypasses spanning a 74-mile route from Thomasville to Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

The project scope includes:
+ Construction of 23 new bridges
+ Drainage and utility relocation
+ Land clearing and grubbing
+ Installation of 100+ box culverts
+ Division into 13 segments, each averaging 5.7 miles in length



The CEI Inspector will report directly to the Project Manager and may oversee one or multiple project segments.
