Cellar Assistant

Babylonstoren has an exciting new position for a cellar assistant to join the cellar team.

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12
• 2–3 years’ relevant experience in a cellar environment
• Valid forklift licence will be to your advantage
• SKOP 1, 2 and 3 will be to your advantage
• Good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of the winemaking process
• Willingness to work overtime, night shift and over weekends when operationally required

Duties

• Wine cellar activities
• General cellar work
• Health & safety and housekeeping according to audit compliance
• Assisting with bottling and labelling
