Overview


The purpose of this position is to provide efficient operation of the Altorfer Rental Central Transportation. As Dealers start and grow their businesses, they will face different sets of challenges, which will require different types of support. The role of the Central Transportation Dispatcher is to efficiently deliver and pick up a variety of equipment to support the needs of the customer and the dealership. To be effective the Central Transportation Dispatcher must establish an understanding of the objectives and accountabilities below.


Basic Duties


+ Schedule outside hauling for deliveries/pickups that cannot be made with Altorfer owned vehicles.

+ Exercises discretion in evaluating and selecting third party hauling vendors, balancing cost, efficiency, and customer impact.
