Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences is currently hiring for a Central Sterile Technician role for their client in Newark, NJ location.

**Job Type:** Minimum 2-month+ temp role (for maternity coverage - possible extension)
**Shift Hours:** Monday-Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm
**Pay:** $23.00-25.00/hr. – depending on your level of experience

**Roles and Responsibilities –**

· Operates and monitors steam Autoclaves ,sonic washers and other sterilizing equipment. Keeps records of load completed ,items in load and maintenance procedures performed .

· Decontaminates and sterilizes instruments ,equipment, assembles wraps and sterilizers cassettes ,trays and instruments . Follows proper standard precautions while in decontamination and sterilization areas.

· Monitors biological and chemical wash solution to ensure quality and consistency for decontamination of instruments and equipment .
