**Position Purpose:**

Under the supervision of a Certified Central Sterile Technician, provides a variety of sterilization processing functions, manual and automated decontamination procedures. Provides sterile instruments and clean equipment to the Operating Room, Gastroenterology, Women-Infant Center, Emergency Department and other departments as needed.

**What you will do:**

+ Provides technical support by decontaminating, processing, and reassembling instruments for sterilization. Safely operate all steam, Sterrad and E+O Sterilizers, utilize cart washer and washer-decontaminators.
