Work setting

Inpatient, outpatient and day‑care hydrotherapy services using hospital hydrotherapy / aquatic therapy pool.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patients (musculoskeletal, neurological, post‑operative, chronic pain, arthritic and balance disorders) for suitability for hydrotherapy and document comprehensive assessments.
• Develop individualized hydrotherapy treatment plans with clear short‑and long‑term functional goals, aligned with the overall physiotherapy/rehab plan.
• Deliver evidence‑based hydrotherapy sessions (aquatic exercises, gait training, strengthening, ROM, balance and coordination training) using the therapeutic properties of warm water, buoyancy and resistance.
