**Job Description:**

Assists patients with healthcare needs who are ill or recovering from surgery or disease.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES

+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Carries out care as delegated by the RN.
+ Receives report from RN daily by 0830 or 2030 to coordinate plan of care related to ADL's. Documents all ADL's for each patient every shift.
+ Answers lights, or intercom system to determine patients' needs.
+ Serves and collects food trays and feeds patients requiring help.
+ Transports patients or assists patients to walk.
+ Runs errands, and direct visitors.
+ Participates in admission/discharge activities.
+ Accurately documents the care provided to patient during shift.
+ Adheres to infection prevention strategies.
+ Stock rooms with supplies. Stock isolation racks with supplies.
+ Responsible to perform purposeful rounding.
+ Updates care boards to include name, plan related to ADL/s, date
