The **Certified Orthotist** will provide comprehensive orthotic care based on the physicians prescription and an individualized treatment plan. Responsibilities include patient assessment, development of a treatment strategy, selection and design of orthotic devices, measurement and impression-taking, device fabrication or oversight, fitting, alignment, adjustment, and ongoing follow-up to optimize function, mobility, and patient outcomes for inpatient and outpatient.

**Responsibilities**

+ Manage an orthotic patient caseload; document care and participate in multidisciplinary case reviews.
+ Serve as a liaison with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other health professionals to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
