We are hiring for a Compounding Pharmacy Technician here in the Fairfield, Ohio area! This role will primarily be performing sterile compounding for a long-term care pharmacy in the area. An ideal candidate will be a nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician; you do not need to have prior compounding experience, although it would be considered a plus.
Responsibilities

+ Assist licensed pharmacists in accurately filling prescriptions under direct supervision.

+ Measure, count, and package medications in accordance with prescription guidelines and established procedures.

+ Affix appropriate labels to medication containers, including dosage instructions and safety warnings.

+ Enter prescription and patient information into pharmacy software systems with a high degree of accuracy.

+ Compound medications.

Qualifications:

+ Must be actively Certified as a Pharmacy Technician
