**Job Summary and Qualifications**

The Surgical Tech acts as primary scrub person who handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the endoscopic procedure. Anticipates the needs of the physician performing the procedure and has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure. Has an understanding of the patient’s procedures being performed and is constantly vigilant to maintain a sterile field when applicable. Assists in care, preparation and maintenance of sterile and unsterile supplies and equipment.
