Key Responsibilities - Perform CFD analyses to support the aerodynamic and aerothermal design of turbofan engine components and subsystems.
- Optimise airflow performance across engine modules including inlet, fan, booster, compressors, combustor, high- and low-pressure turbines, and secondary air systems.
- Evaluate aerodynamic losses, efficiency, operability, surge margins, pressure ratios, and cooling effectiveness.
- Conduct whole-engine integrated flow analyses to support engine and aircraft integration.
- Support multidisciplinary design optimisation and assess the impact of design changes on engine performance.
