Custodian (Temporary, part-time, 30 hr/wk) – Effective immediately to July 31, 2026, or return of incumbent.

The custodian is responsible for providing a healthy, clean, and safe environment for learning within our facilities and for assisting in general safety and comfort for staff, students, and visitors. This role includes cleaning and security of district buildings, and monitoring public use of school facilities. Custodians often work alone and after school hours. Work is assigned and performed under the general direction of the Operations Supervisor.

Examples of Work

• All duties as described in the School District No 6 Custodial Handbook.
• Checks condition of facilities before and after use by public users.
• Reports damage or hazardous conditions to the Operations Supervisor.
