The Opportunity

The MetroHealth System, a nationally recognized, mission-driven academic health system and the largest public health provider in Northeast Ohio, is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the next Chairperson of the Department of Family Medicine.

MetroHealth's Department of Family Medicine is a cornerstone of the system's commitment to community-based, comprehensive care. With a dedicated team of 70–75 clinicians, including 55 board-certified physicians and 20 advanced practice providers, the department delivers high-quality, accessible care at 15–20 clinical sites across Cuyahoga County. The department supports a highly regarded Family Medicine Residency Program (established in 1974), now expanded to nine residents per year (27 total).
