Overview

South Savo Wellbeing Services Eloisa is seeking a charge nurse for a permanent position in the General Medicine Department in Mikkeli starting from 17.8.26 or by agreement. Interviews will begin in week 32.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily staffing and promote unit operations.
• Develop nursing practices and implement changes.
• Onboard and guide new employees.
• Participate in planning student supervision.
• Perform both administrative and clinical tasks.
• Collaborate with the service supervisor and another charge nurse.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a diploma from a vocational school.
• Licensure according to the Act on Health Care Professionals (559/94).
• Proficiency in spoken and written Finnish.
• Experience in department operations and previous work as a charge nurse.
