We are looking for an experienced and passionate CDP to join our team.
Job Description - Prepare, cook and present food as per restaurant standards.
- Supervise Commis Chefs ensuring they are fully trained and understand their duties.
- Ensure kitchen stock is rotated and controlled.
- Order, check in delivered stock and ensure its safe storage.
- Ensure the kitchen cleaning schedule is adhered to.
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of the menu and specials and be able to explain dish descriptions to front of house/customer.
- Ensure compliance to food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Assist Head Chef in the development of menu items and specials.
- Follow restaurant policies and procedures.
- Adhoc duties as requested.
Job Requirements - Minimum of 3 years experience in a fast pace kitchen.
