**Job Title: Chemical Process Operator**

**Job Description**

The Chemical Process Operator will be responsible for tending equipment and managing semiautomatic processes for the formulation of chemical substances used in industrial and consumer products. Working at a small chemical packaging site, the operator will follow batch sheets and recipes, ensuring accurate chemical formulations.

**Responsibilities**

+ Tend to equipment and semiautomatic processes for chemical substances.
+ Work as an operator and material handler in a small chemical packaging site.
+ Follow batch sheets/recipes for chemical formulations and lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.
+ Inspect work areas and equipment for leaks or malfunctions, shutting equipment down when necessary and notifying maintenance or engineering.
+ Operate sit-down forklifts to move materials or bring barrels, drums, vials, or totes to equipment for processing.
