Responsibilities
- Contact suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, availability, and delivery schedules; evaluate quotes and recommend awards.
- Develop and process purchase orders, including revisions, under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager.
- Review incoming requisitions for accuracy; resolve discrepancies related to prices, delivery, and quality.
- Monitor supplier compliance with contract cost, quality, and schedule requirements, and follow up on open POs to ensure on‑time delivery.
- Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure trade compliance and smooth import/export processes.
- Prepare regular reports and present updates to management and customers in a timely manner.
