Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Lab Technician (substitute from mid-August 2026 to mid-March 2027)

CLASSIFICATION / RATE OF PAY: Classification “IV” per Schedule A of the collective agreement

DEPARTMENT: Chemistry & Biochemistry

HOURS OF WORK: Labs in session: M-Th 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm & F 11:00 am – 7:00 pm (12 weeks in Fall & 12 weeks Winter semesters) Labs not in session: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
