Role Description

The Chief Engineer at Fairfield by Marriott in Kota Kinabalu is a full‑time, on‑site role responsible for overseeing all engineering and maintenance operations within the hotel. This role manages the preventive maintenance program, ensures building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety) operate efficiently, and coordinates repairs to maintain guest comfort and safety. The Chief Engineer leads and schedules the engineering team, monitors contractor work, and maintains accurate records of maintenance activities and regulatory compliance.
