The Spurwink Center for Safe and Healthy Families, located in South Portland, Maine is seeking a full-time BC/BE Child Abuse Pediatrician to serve as the Medical Director of a well-established child abuse clinic.

The Physician will join a team of two full-time NPs and one full-time CAP as well as Psychologists, and Social Workers. The Center is co-located with the Cumberland County Children's Advocacy Center.

DUTIES:


+ Perform medical evaluations for physical and sexual abuse both inpatient and outpatient.

+ Perform outpatient comprehensive health.assessments of children in Southern Maine newly entering foster care.

+ Conduct inpatient medical consultations at Barbara Bush Children's Hospital in Portland.

+ Conduct remote inpatient consultations at other children's hospitals in Maine.
