Position Overview

Sylvia Home Association is a versatile social services provider for children, youth, and adults requiring special support. We employ about 200 professionals across five units in Lahti, Hollola, and Orimattila. We are seeking a supervisor for the Rautakannaskoti child welfare unit for a permanent position.

Rautakannaskoti specializes in placements for children with developmental disabilities and neuropsychiatric challenges. Children placed here require around‑the‑clock, individualized support and strong guidance in many daily activities. The core value of Rautakannaskoti is to meet and address each child's unique life situation. The unit has expanded from seven to 14 places with a new purpose‑built facility opening in December 2024.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s growth, development and rehabilitation through a safe daily routine and respectful individual attention.
• Manage written processes and documentation.
