The Children’s Services Specialist at Child Start is tasked with supporting the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of educational services across designated classrooms and centers, including Early Head Start. This position requires close collaboration with teaching staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, developmentally appropriate practices that adhere to Head Start Performance Standards.

Through conducting observations, providing monitoring and constructive feedback, offering training, and delivering direct support, the Children’s Services Specialist contributes to enhancing classroom quality, promoting school readiness outcomes, and maintaining accurate documentation and service delivery in alignment with Child Start’s mission and goals.
