**Job Title: Construction Laborer / Erosion Control Technician**
**Job Description**
This role focuses on installing and maintaining erosion control systems, including fences and wattles, on a civil construction site in Michigan City, IN. You will perform hands-on work such as driving posts, installing silt fencing, shoveling and spreading dirt or rock, seeding, and blowing straw to support storm water pollution protection efforts. Heavy equipment operators handle machinery, while you concentrate on physical labor, site cleanliness, and maintaining safety and communication on a busy construction site.

**Responsibilities**

+ Install and maintain fences and wattles to prevent erosion in accordance with storm water pollution protection plans (SWIP).
+ Manually drive posts by hand using a pneumatic post driver and secure fence material to steel T-posts.
