Munich Re Madrid is responsible for Non-Life technical accounting and claims handling services for Iberia, Latin America, Caribbean and Italy. We are looking for a flexible and highly motivated Reinsurance Claims Accountant in this interesting, dynamic and international setting, contributing with expertise and engagement in the growing multicultural department.

Your job

• Review of claims notifications based on the Reinsurance terms and conditions and verifying calculations from our clients (insurance companies and reinsurance brokers).
• Processing the claims in our SAP systems.
• Verifying payment requests for individual claims on the basis of the individual authorities.
• Ensure data quality and perform claims quality checks.
• Close cooperation with Claims Managers, claims consultants, the Business units and the Reinsurance Accounting International Organization.
• Correspondence/contact with cedants and brokers. <...
