Position Information:

The Clinical Services Technician collects pathology specimens at free standing Ambulatory Care Centers. Responsible for the registration processing and allocation of laboratory specimens and orders from all sources. Responsible for verification of proper patient/specimen identification appropriateness of specimen and accompanying orders. Organizes laboratory workflow and appropriately prioritizes processing and preparation of specimens for transport. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment proper PAR levels of supplies while remaining fiscally responsible to the organization. Utilizes requisite equipment instruments and computer systems to test request accession correctly label and package specimens to ensure specimen integrity for delivery via courier to appropriate laboratory facility.
