Your work is expected to align and support the strategy of the Department of Surgery and Cancer working on surgical innovation and novel advanced therapeutics to functional diseases of the spinal and specifically with a key interest in the treatment of spinal cord injury.

You will be expected to establish a programme of research focusing on mechanisms of spinal injury and determine therapeutics to promote axonal regeneration.
