**Job Summary and Qualifications**

**Provides nutritional care to individual patients through assessment of nutritional status and education. Acts as a liaison between patients and Nutrition Services. Acts as a resource for nutritional expertise to physicians and other health care professionals. Provides functional guidance to Dietetic Technicians, Diet Clerks and Food Service Workers.
