The USC Keck School of Medicine is seeking to hire a full-time Clinical Lab Technician to support the day-to-day operations of the Biospecimen Repository Pathology Research Laboratory of USC within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.


The Clinical Lab Technician performs laboratory and documentation procedures, in compliance with USC Human Subjects Research policies, related to procurement, processing, banking and distribution of biospecimens in a CAP/CLIA certified environment.


Key Responsibilities include:


+ Procuring and processing tissue and fluid samples from human subjects as part of clinical trial, translational and basic science research: direct contact with clinic, radiology, ORs for scheduled procedures and status checks.

+ Accessions biospecimens into the Specimen Management System, including tissue for various USC IRB approved studies.
