JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Nurse I is a competent practitioner of nursing care and a registered professional nurse who helps to ensure the mission, vision and values of MWPH.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION
Works with interdisciplinary team members to achieve patient care goals.Complies with all policies and procedures, providing patient care.Participates in activities for continuing education, professional development and performance improvement.Functions with a focus on patient safety and customer service.May, with appropriate competencies and at least two years recent pediatric nursing experience, serve as escort for transport according to policy.May serve as charge nurse, with one-year MWPH experience, and precept new employees.Utilize the Nursing process to provide high quality patient care to the population served.POSITION REQUIREMENTS
