Overview
The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for optimizing patient medication therapy, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines, and providing expert pharmaceutical care within hospital and clinical settings. The role involves close collaboration with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop, monitor, and review patient-specific treatment plans while promoting evidence-based practice and medication safety.
Responsibilities
- Supervise junior staff and ensure their abidance to going rules and policies as applied and implemented in the section/department/organization, as per requirement.
- Participate in department/organization/regulatory bodies’ clinical projects.
- Optimize patient care in defined wards/units by planning, managing, monitoring, advising and reviewing specialist pharmaceutical care programs for patients.
