The Clinical Psychologist will operate within the Department of Health approved framework ensuring ethical, safe and culturally competent care.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive psychological assessments using standardized tools (DSM, ICD, MMSE)
- Individual, group, couple and family therapy for emotional, behavioural and cognitive conditions
- Development of patient‑centered treatment plans using modalities such as CBT, DBT and trauma‑informed care
- Risk assessments and safety planning, especially for individuals at risk of self-harm or suicide
- Collaboration with psychiatrists, physicians and allied health professionals for holistic care delivery
- Participation in multidisciplinary care, patient education and awareness programs
